How to change a Volkswagen Generator belt in about 5 seconds. I was shown this trick a few years back, by Reece Kelso. Kelso was the "VW" man around the Gaston County N.C. area in the 70's. Kelso is gone but the memory is still strong. Here is my go at it ENJOY.

why adjust? the new belt is shorter than the old. i think the setup is for the new belt.(if its not readjusted after 5-10000km) i'm a car mechanic.but i'm not brave enough to try this.Respect.(if its gone wrong you can say
 goodbye for a few fingers) i do it with starter motor without ignition.
